Final Exams Exemption Policy

FINAL EXAMS EXEMPTION POLICY:

Students will be exempt from finals (but NOT from EOCs) if they:

1. Have an A and 3 or fewer absences

2. Have a B and 2 or fewer absences

3. Have a C and no absences

4. Passed their End-of-Pathway Assessment

5. Scored a "distinguished" on an EOC (if the scores for that test are available)

**3 tardies to class count as an absence for the purpose of exemption.

EXCUSED, UNEXCUSED, NURSE, OSS, AND APPROVED ABSENCES COUNT TOWARDS THE EXEMPTION POLICY.

All teachers are expected to have some sort of assessment for those students who are not exempt, even if they have already given an EOC.
